Topic for Today:
How to Post a Bulletin on MySpace.Com

Okay, I know for many of you, maybe for most of you, that this is a very easy task. The reason I am going to write about it is because I have had in the past week, one person who sent me a message and asked me instructions on how to repost a bulletin so they could answer and repost those funny questions that we all love to read, and another person who tried to repost by clicking the "Reply to Poster" at the bottom of a bulletin that I had posted, and their answers ended up in my Inbox, instead of being reposted for everyone on his Friends list to see, in which I'm sure he intended.

If you find yourself reading a list off funny questions and answers from one you those very close friends on your MySpace friends list that you pretend to know, one of your very close 345 friends that you see on a daily basis, and you decide, hey, I want to repost this survey with my answers. Then this is a step by step guide on how to perform that task. (Okay, the above paragraph was me trying to be funny, if I failed, just don't say anything. I promise, the rest of this Blog is educations)

1) First, write down the title in the subject line of the Bulletin, you'll need this later. Next, you want to highlight the Body of the text in the Bulletin in which you wish to repost. If you know how to do this, go to step 2, if not, read on. The Body of the text is all of the text in the white box to the right of the word Body. To highlight all of the text in the body, place the cursor to the left of the first letter in the first word in the text Body box in the upper left corner where the bulletin starts. "Not the text in the Subject line" Press and hold the left mouse button down. While holding the mouse button down, move the mouse to the bottom right corner of the text Body box so it is at the right of the last letter in the last word for the Bulletin. Now release the left mouse button. If you did it right, the Body of the text in the bulletin should be highlighted. If you have highlighted it correctly it will look like the picture below.

2) After you have highlighted the text, then you need to copy the text. If you know how to do this, skip to step 3, if not, continue to read.  To do this, you place your cursor on one of the highlighted lines and right click your mouse. A little popup and drop down menu will appear. You want to move the cursor of your mouse down to the copy option and left click on it. If you have right clicked on your highlighted text it will look like the picture below.

3) Once you have copied your text, then click on the "Home" option at the top of your MySpace web page. Now scroll down until you get to the "My Mail" box, which is just below your main picture. In "My Mail" box, click on the "Post Bulletin" option. Below is a picture of the "My Mail" box with the "Post Bulletin" option inside.

4) Now that you have the blank "Post Bulletin" page open you are ready to paste your copied text here. To do this, move your cursor to anywhere in the white text Body area. Right click  your mouse and a popup  and drop down menu will appear again. This time you want to left click on the Paste option from the drop down menu. The picture below shows a blank text Body area with the popup and drop down menu after you right click but before you left click on paste.

5) After you click Paste, then the highlighted text you copied will appear in the box. Okay, now remember the first thing I told you to do in step 1 at the top of the page. You'll need the title of the subject line that you wrote down. Type the original title into the Subject Line Box above the Body of the text box.

Now you need to do 1 of 2 things.

A) If it was a Bulletin that you just needed to add your answer to at the end of the list, then scroll down to the bottom of the list, and add your answer. "If not, skip to step "B".  Now that you have done that, click on the Post option at the bottom of the webpage. A second page will come up asking you to "Confirm Bulletin" Here you can read it to make sure you didn't make any mistakes. If you did make a mistake, just click the Edit option below and it will take you back so you are able to make changes. If there are no mistakes, click the Submit option and it will be posted in a few minutes. If you change your mind all together, click Cancel. Now that you are all done, click on the Home option at the top of the webpage to bring you back to your MySpace home page. You are now done. You did it!

B) If the Bulletin that you are reposting is one in which you want to post your own answers to some questions, then you need to start with the first question, place your cursor at the end of the last persons answer for that question, and press the Backspace Key on your keyboard. Keep tapping the Backspace Key until the original answer has been deleted. Now type your own answer to the question. Repeat this step for all of the questions. Once you have done this for all of the questions and answers in the Bulletin, click on the Post option at the bottom of the webpage. You did it!
